SURGEFLO FL-44 24 V DC self-priming diaphragm pump. 17 L/min, 40 PSI / 2.8 bar shut-off, 132 W and 5.5 A, with a pressure switch that starts and stops with the tap.
Installation Guide
- Mount the Pump: Secure the pump in a dry, ventilated area using the anti-vibration rubber feet. Do not over-tighten the screws to allow the rubber to absorb noise.
- Connect Plumbing: Fit a strainer on the inlet. Hose-barb the 1/2 in inlet and 1/2 in or 3/4 in outlet, then clip the hose to stop air leaks.
- Wire the Power: Connect the pump to a fused 24V DC power source (battery or matching adapter), red to positive and black to negative.
- Prime and Test: Open your tap or nozzle, turn on the power, and allow the pump to self-prime. Once water flows smoothly, close the tap to verify the automatic pressure switch turns the pump off.

Great 40 psi diaphragm pump, delivers exactly the flow promised. My only minor gripe is that the power lead tails could be a bit longer for easier wiring, but it was simple enough to extend them.
